Prices start from £120 for a 2 hour private children’s party (with a £10 discount in Stevenage). Then £22.50 per additional 30 minutes.
For distances over 15 miles from Stevenage, an additional travel fee may be added.
Bookings for less than 2 hours may be possible in or near Stevenage.

I can adjust the detail of the designs I offer to the numbers you have. The maximum faces I can paint in an hour is 12-15, so 2 hours for a party of up to 30 gives plenty of time (as there’s usually a few who wont want painting). For a party of 31-40, I would recommend increasing the time to 2.5-3 hours, but if you can’t accommodate that, I can offer quicker, smaller designs and fit everyone in.
Please allow for time that children may be in an activity/eating and not want painting.
If you have less than 15 then I can do really nice detailed glittery faces in 2 hours, or can offer glitter tattoos as well.

I follow the current government and industry guidance for close contact work. I wash my hands before I begin painting. I wash my hands or use hand sanitiser between customers. I always use a clean sponge for each person, rinse brushes and I change the water regularly. I disinfect brushes used on the lips.
All equipment is cleaned after each event.

I cover Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and areas of North London, Cambridgeshire and Essex that border Herts. I am happy to travel further for an additional travel fee.

I am insured to paint children from aged 2. I cannot paint below that age. If they are being painted for the first time, I recommend a patch test 15 minutes before, and then a smaller design, rather than the whole face.
Glitter tattoos from aged 3.

I have a basic DBS check from June 2023 that you are welcome to see.

The products I use are professional face painting or temporary body tattoo products that are EU and FDA approved for cosmetic use and are hypoallergenic. Some UV paints are not yet FDA tested or approved for cosmetic use in the UK, but have been used by the industry for a long time. For children, I only use those that are approved, and for adults, I will ask first.
I only use products that are described as vegan and free from animal testing. I use biodegradable plant-based glitter, except in glitter gels where this is not available.
I use a clean sponge for each face.
It is rare to have an allergic reaction to the face painting products, but if you are unsure or have not been painted before, please ask for a patch test on your arm first.

I can bring all my own equipment, chair, table, water etc. I will ask you when you book what is provided, and bring the rest. I will need an area with good lighting, with enough room for a table and chairs, and a bit of space around me.
If painting outdoors I need shelter such as a marquee or gazebo. I can bring my own gazebo but would need to cost in time to set this up for events under 4 hours.

The best way to remove face paint is with soap and water and a flannel or sponge. Occasionally some colours may leave a slight stain, but this will go. Using baby wipes is not recommended. If you find the paint has stained a little you can try baby oil or an oil based skin lotion.
The glitter tattoos are waterproof and should stay on for up to 7 days, even with washing. To remove them sooner use baby oil or an oil-based lotion. If you want a tattoo that does wash off, let me know and I can use a different glue.
